While corporate facilities run on rigid systems and blanket policies, we run on something different: genuine attention. Every dog here is seen, noticed, and understood as an individual. We don't manage dogs — we care for them.

Who We Are

Baxter's K9 Complex is St. Peters and St. Charles County's only full-service dog facility, offering boarding, daycare, grooming, and training — all under one roof, in a large indoor/outdoor facility designed with dogs in mind.

We are locally owned and operated. The owner is here every day. That means decisions are made based on what's best for the dogs in our care — not what's easiest for a corporate system.

Our team is trained to observe, communicate, and adapt. If something feels off with a dog, it's addressed — not ignored because 'that's just the program.'

What Makes Baxter's Different

• Enrichment-Based Care. We specialize in enrichment — not just supervision. Breaks, decompression, and mental stimulation are built into every dog's day. Behavior is treated as communication, not a problem to manage.
• We Welcome Unaltered Dogs. We are the ONLY daycare facility in the St. Peters area that offers daycare to unaltered dogs. If your dog has been turned away elsewhere, you've found the right place.
• Individualized Daycare for Every Dog. Not every dog thrives in group play — and that's okay. We offer individual outings for dogs who prefer solo time, going out with a dedicated staff member every two hours. Shy dogs, sensitive dogs, reactive dogs — they belong here too.
• Proud Supporters of Rescue Dogs. We partner with local rescue organizations to provide boarding for rescue dogs while they find their forever homes. Giving back to the community isn't an afterthought — it's part of who we are.
•  All Breeds Welcome. Every breed, every size, every temperament. We don't turn dogs away based on breed. Period
•  A Complete Training Ecosystem. From puppy basics to advanced obedience and behavioral modification, our training programs are designed to work alongside our daycare and boarding services. Training graduates even receive exclusive Elite boarding pricing.
